His work follows an emotional approach, telling uplifting and inspiring stories with a strong commitment to authenticity. Growing up in Freiburg, Germany, Steve started his career in business informatics (B.Sc.), working for 4 years as an software engineer before following his passion for film. With age 25, he honed his skills as a film director and cinematographer through a comprehensive education at the renowned Filmakademie Baden Württemberg where he received a scholarship for a masterclass program, that allowed him to deepen his skills in “cinematography” at France famous La Fémis film school in Paris. Beside film school Steve released his debut feature film “Flying Revolution”, a tribute to the Flying Steps Dance Crew from Germany, won international awards and was leading the iTunes charts for documentaries. After study, Steve lived in the Philippines where he created his own film production boutique KAIZEN STUDIO. By collaborating with talents from Europe and South East Asia his production boutique is focused on branded content, storytelling and documentaries, working in Europe and South East Asia. Steve has worked with brands such as Red Bull, Nike, McDonald’s, Warner Music, BMW, Snipes, Cler Bank and many more, delivering compelling and authentic content that connects with audiences and inspires change. With his unique perspective and access to different cultures, Steve is dedicated to bringing his vision to life and elevating the art of storytelling. His emotional approach to filmmaking gives his work soul and creates an impact that resonates with audiences. His latest film “Panje,” a short documentary about a NGO in Zanzibar, won an award at the Cannes YDA. Steve is passionate about making a positive impact through film and is always seeking to create content with soul.

After winning two World Champion titles and experiencing a outstanding stream of success, German hip-hop dancer Majid Kessab follow his desire to uncover his suppressed identity as a Kurd. The rhythm of his feet beats like the drums of his ancestors, leading him on a deeper search for the influence and purpose of his dance to Northern Kurdistan, where he rediscovers a lost connection to his homeland and experience the story of his father, a proud Kurd who had to leave his home and family to ensure their safety. Many women on the island still don´t know how to swim even when some of them working in the sea. Or traveling the sea by boat. The last decades many boat incidents happened where only men was able to safe themselves. The project PANJE by a local charity foundation in Zanzibar wants to educate and inspire women to take action. With free swim classes for young and old, they learn to feel safe and connected to the sea. The picture of the women floating in the water symbolizes their empowerment. World Drowning Prevention Day, declared through the April 2021 UN General Assembly resolution A/75/L.76 “Global drowning prevention”, is held annually on 25 July. This global advocacy event serves as an opportunity to highlight the tragic and profound impact of drowning on families and communities and offer life-saving solutions to prevent it. An estimated 235,600 people drown every year, and drowning is among the ten leading causes of death for children aged 5-14 years. More than 90% of drowning deaths occur in rivers, lakes, wells, domestic water storage vessels and swimming pools in low- and middle-income countries, with children and adolescents in rural areas disproportionately affected.
