From a Residential Care to a Community Center
Piseth has been a Residential Care Institution manager for many years. He used to think that Residential Care Institutions/Orphanages were a good alternative for children, until he started his master in Social Work and received additional trainings from Family Care First. Now, Piseth is supporting Nita* and other children at Cambodian Organization for Living and Temporary-care to return to their families where they can thrive. Family Care First, with funding support from USAID Cambodia and Save the Children Hong Kong , has supported RCI directors like Piseth through M'luprussey Organization to prioritise safe, nurturing family based care for children.
