From a Residential Care to a Community Center

Piseth has been a Residential Care Institution manager for many years. He used to think that Residential Care Institutions/Orphanages were a good alternative for children, until he started his master in Social Work and received additional trainings from Family Care First. Now, Piseth is supporting Nita* and other children at Cambodian Organization for Living and Temporary-care to return to their families where they can thrive. Family Care First, with funding support from USAID Cambodia and Save the Children Hong Kong , has supported RCI directors like Piseth through M'luprussey Organization to prioritise safe, nurturing family based care for children. Recording with his mobile, Aral shows us what refugees must face on their way to Europe. 53 MOONS is the journey that many people have taken for several months, but also the story of a couple that just want to live safe and free.
