I'm a multimedia story teller: I write, shoot photos (mostly to support my other work) and produce, shoot and edit video. I work as a freelance journalist and communications consultant, and my work has appeared in Al Jazeera America, Juvenile Justice Information Exchange, Foreign Affairs and the British Journal of Photography, among others. I recently left a full time position as Multimedia Editor and Producer for United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs. I like telling the human side of stories, and am most interested in health and health care, social justice, human rights and humanitarian affairs. I am always interested in learning new beats, and am happy to talk about new ideas for stories.
