My name is Denisa Morariu and I am a Romanian journalist and film documentary director. I have worked for CNN International, for a Romanian television show which broadcasts reportages and documentaries (social issues, cultural, economic, military and security, investigations) and I own my production company, through which I film documentaries (for HBO) and reportages for international companies. I have received two gold medals and a nomination at the EMMY awards in 2014, for a television documentary I did. I speak seven languages and now studying two others (Romanian, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Japanese, Arabic).

I, the guinea pig
This is a documentary about the Romanian Jewish twins who were subject to experiments, in Auschwitz, and their memories of doctor Joseph Mengele. Also, it tells the story of a Romanian doctor who was saved by Mengele and delegated to perform all the autopsies on the prisoners the doctor performed tests on.

Match of the century: Bruce Lee vs life
This is the story of Florin Hora, known as Bruce Lee, the leader of the homeless people in Bucharest, Romania. Called by all "Father", Bruce Lee has organised the people living in the sewage in a different type of society, with different rules. Considered a saviour by many, but a drug dealer by the authorities, this is Bruce Lee's last fight with the authorities, for his freedom.

The long journey home
This is the story of Petrica Federici, who was abandoned in one of the most horrifying orphanages in Romania, where he was raped, beaten, starved and injured. He was adopted by an American psychiatrist and, 16 years later, he comes to visit Romania and see his mother for the first time since she abandoned him, to visit his orphanage and meet his best friend, now locked in a mental hospital.
