Michael Hull is a producer, director, and editor from New York City, relocated to Portland, Oregon. His feature documentary BETRAYAL AT ATTICA premiered on HBOMax on August 1, 2021. He was a producer on the film WHEN I CLOSE MY EYES, distributed by Independent Lens in 2024. He was awarded a Pulitzer Center grant in October, 2024 to cover the Georgian parliamentary elections for MSNBC's Ali Velshi show from Tbilisi, Georgia. Hull was the lead video producer for the Fusion Media Group election unit in 2015/16, and was an editor at CBS News from 2010-2015. As the owner of Fifth Column Films he has produced videos for the US Department of Health and Human Services, the Centers for Disease Control, Yahoo!/Telemundo, The Critical Press, CBS News Digital, Putumayo World Music, and many others.
