He was awarded a Pulitzer Center grant in October, 2024 to cover the Georgian parliamentary elections for MSNBC's Ali Velshi show from Tbilisi, Georgia. Filmed and edited this promo piece for a local bakery in Portland, Oregon. This is one of my favorite places in town, so when the owner asked if I would do some promotional work for them I immediately agreed - as long as part of my pay came in pretzels.

I worked with reporter Terrell Starr at the Republican and Democratic conventions during the 2016 election season. In this piece Starr dissects the messaging at the RNC in Cleveland, OH, and what the Republican caucus can do to attract African-American voters.
José is an HIV+ patient and counselor who has interacted with the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Programs for many years. In this piece we hear his story and see him interact with visitors to the safe space he managed at the time. I co-produced, directed, and edited this piece for the Health Resources and Services Administration, a part of the federal department of Health and Human Services, in conjunction with Impact Marketing & Communications.
