About

Originally from Italy, Tierney has lived and worked around the world, from India to Bolivia, to the USA. Her career has spanned from long-format documentary television to short-form live news. Over the past eight years, she's been telling dramatic stories: whether examining life inside American hospitals, reporting on the stigma associated with HIV/AIDS in Bolivia, Shaolin Monks in China, Syrian refugees in Jordan or black markets in Afghanistan, the programs and reports cover a wide range of subjects and have aired on: MSNBC, ABC News, OWN, PBS, Discovery Channel, National Geographic and Huffington Post. She's currently based in Sydney, but continues to travel around the world and tells human-interest stories that try to move and inform the public.
