Bookshelf 'stop-motion' with dynamic character animation is a classic recipe for digital/mobile success. For this campaign we came up with a series shorts leveraging character animation to deliver results on mobile and online.
Directed this documentary about the DDP team, Tom and Gary, covering their New York City party and big ideas regarding a decentralized future.
Bringing this monster campaign to life for Farmers was a treat! The trick was the amazing makeup & wardrobe, thanks to the talented @makeupartistla & Vanessa Gonzalez who made mummy magic on a tight budget. We were a nimble team, lead by DP @Chris_Westlund and line producer @rossangelescalifornia, and we got it done in the nick of time.
The monster head was operated by two people via remote control in addition to the actor in the suit. It took more than a few takes for the monster triumvirate to find their flow.
I wrote, directed and edited this pilot episode for our MTV series ‘Inside Joke’. The premise for the series was taking a joke by a stand up comedian and bringing it to life. We were lucky to land Michael Che before he landed his gig on SNL.
