I've been working behind the camera for about 10 years, filming documentary, nature, broadcast commercials, branded content, music videos, and more. On and off set you can count on me to keep a level head and positive attitude. I respect my crew, clients, directors, talent, and other collaborators. While I'm a perfectionist at heart, I also know that there's a bigger picture to think about in any situation. My work experience spans from small, run and gun doc teams filming on location to scripted productions with a full crew in the studio.

Not only was Jon available at short notice, he filmed the project with great enthusiasm and attention to detail. Jon dealt with the sensitivity of the subject with professionalism and care, and the footage he delivered is creative and visually impactful. This web doc series on the intersections of humanity and trees took me to 9 states and 7 national forests. Throughout I hiked a rainy appalatian forest in search of flying squirrels, flew a drone over Oregon's most beautiful waterfalls, popped two rental car tires, and filmed an interview from a creek. I acted as producer, co-director, DP, drone op, and colorist.

Created a series of four short form documentary profiles for display in museum exhibit. From the exhibit listing: "Faces from the Interior: The North American Portraits of Karl Bodmer" is Joslyn Art Museum’s first project to focus exclusively on Karl Bodmer’s portraits of Native Americans. See over sixty recently conserved watercolors featuring individuals from Omaha, Yankton, Lakota, Mandan, Hidatsa, Assiniboine, and Blackfoot tribes, among many Native communities encountered by Maximilian and Bodmer during their travels along the Missouri River. The exhibition also premieres four short films—contemporary portraits that testify to the enduring power of Bodmer’s images. Personal stories shared in these films illuminate generations of Indigenous teachings that bridge historical and contemporary featherwork and beadwork, dancing, tribal histories, and traditional ecological knowledge. Joslyn Art Museum gratefully acknowledges the participation and generosity of exhibition contributors and film participants.
Series of video profiles and scripted commercials promoting careers in the California construction industry. Great small crew shoot with just director, producer, DP, and PA for profile shoots, with additional help from an AC during scripted segments.
This music video had a tight time window where the crew and talent were available, but the day of our outdoor shoot we woke up to rain and cold wind. The band and dancer were down to brave the elements, so we put on our raincoats and filmed anyway.
