1 reviewFounded while backpacking around the world in 2012 and 2013, Less Than Far Films (formerly Flyover Pictures) is focused on stories of underrepresented communities and disappearing places. Our work has been featured as an official showcase in the 2014 Greenpoint Film Festival, in the 2013 Green Unplugged Film Festival, on Yahoo! Brazil. We’ve been commissioned to create work for Wanderlust Festivals, a U.S.-based organization, and Friends of Koh Rong and Trailblazer, both Cambodian non-profits, and featured on About Harvest. We’re currently working on our first long-form, The Last Roadhouse, about an old Pony Express roadhouse in Nevada and their struggle to implement renewable energy.
Boran Bar was opened in late 2012 in Bangkok, the culmination of family's long-held dream. The food they make is traditionally Thai—family recipes passed from one generation to the next—but the restaurant's theme is anything but. With rock and roll music, a tattooed waitstaff, and old-school Americana decor, Boran Bar is one of Bangkok's most interesting fusions of traditional and modern.
