Her work has been featured in Luchadoras MX, the Washington Post Opinion, Vice, Der Spiegel and NACLA Report. María is an IWMF 2022 fellow. Also she's a Cambia la Historia fellow from the DW Akademie and she attended to the Foundry Photojournalism Workshop of the VII Academy, class 2021. She's available for freelancing at Mexico.
