Corey's mother once said, "My boy is a genius and so handsome!" Whether you choose to believe her or not, the facts remain; Corey is an award-winning Cinematographer and this is his Glimmer profile. Corey is a people person, an optimist, a perfectionist and only writes in the third person. Corey is a good communicator, a devoted team player and remains cool under pressure. His work spans all formats and genres. He has shot numerous narrative and documentary features; not to mention hundreds of short films. I’m not kidding, hundreds. Corey attended The School of Visual Arts and was awarded Best Cinematography in his graduating year. Shortly after he was honored with The Kodak Vision Award for Cinematography at Slamdance for his break-out documentary “Shunka”. He is a thirteen year member of the Local 600 International Cinematographers Guild. Corey cut his teeth pulling focus and operating for legends such as Fred Elmes, Ken Kelsch, Jody Lee Lipes, and Russell Carpenter, to name a few.
