HIAS Welcome Circle
After the fall of Kabul, three interfaith communities of ordinary people came together in a “Welcome Circle” to support a refugee family as they start their new life in St. Louis. HIAS’ Welcome Circles program connects and supports Americans who want to help refugees get settled in their communities, providing a lifeline to refugees with relational support to enhance belonging, opportunity, and agency. This film is being used to highlight the impact of the Welcome Circle’s project and to help recruit new circles across the country.
