I am independent filmmaker from Mexico City and have a small production company called Docutepec (http://docutepec.tv) -roughly meaning: the city of documentaries. Non-fiction visual stories are my passion. I enjoy capturing inspiring subjects and becoming through video an emotional and intellectual bridge between human beings. I believe in the power of documentaries to spread awareness and compassion. I have a video journalism background. I worked as a videographer in Reforma, Mexico City's top newspaper, making short pieces about national and local news and also producing documentary web series for the paper's website. I've also worked as a cameraman in productions like "The Last Song Before the War" in Timbuktu, Mali.
