Over the course of her professional career Dija has worked across a variety of platforms and disciplines, specifically those in the visual arts. A native Southern Californian, her affair with cinema started at a young age, followed by a sense of wonder for traveling, and the unknown.
An accomplished Producer, Director and documentarian, Dija has worked globally. While Producing and co-directing Post Oak Bluff (a documentary delving into the world of online Poker and using it as a metaphor for American Politics) She interviewed some of the Poker world’s top players- amongst them: Doyle Brunson, Annie Duke Phil Laak and Annie Duke, as well several Senators and powerful government officials.
As a journalist on KCET’s Emmy winning SoCal Connected she covered a myriad of human interest stories with passion and enthusiasm. Her stories have been featured on the Huffington Post, amongst other syndications.
