Maho is an amazing shooter and director. Her shots are beautiful and really well-composed. She did a fantastic job directing the story, and everything was delivered right on time. Wendy, a Mexican activist, attended a march where some demonstrators burned wooden barriers, and the police fired shots into the air and into the crowd. Wendy got bullet wounds in her leg and vulva. Those responsible were never brought to justice. Undeterred, Wendy set up a collective with other women who were assaulted during the protest. This video was part of a human rights campaign by Amnesty International for which I did all the camera work.
