Fighting Illegal Fishing in African Waters

Unable to police the vast waters of the Atlantic Ocean which attract industrial fishers from all over the world, west African fisheries officials teamed up with Greenpeace to patrol their coasts, for several weeks. They discovered a Wild West, where precious stocks were being looted out of sight. I boarded the Greenpeace vessel as it plied the waters, and closed in on the culprits.

For those who secured a night or two in the few shelters not already full, the living conditions were so bad that migrants returned to the streets and parks where some have been camping for well over a year.
