Request QuoteRose is a freelance producer/director based in Buenos Aires. She has a PGDip in Broadcast Journalism from City University and worked at Russia Today as a broadcast journalist, as well as gaining experience at the BBC, Sky, ITV and independent production companies. She produced a documentary for the Guardian on brain tingles, which was screened at the London Short Film Festival in 2017, and edited ‘Born behind the wall’, a documentary about pregnant mothers living in Gaza, which was nominated for best documentary at the BFI Future Film Festival. She is currently working on a feature length film about mothers helping other mothers in a township in South Africa. She has just completed a PhD on an intervention aiming to promote bonding between mothers and malnourished children in Ethiopia. She previously worked for a children’s mental health charity producing all multimedia content. Her undergraduate degree was in Social Political Sciences at Cambridge.

Rose and her co-creator Vanessa Camozzi were great to work with - they were very organized and Rose's cinematography was beautiful. The edit stage took a fair bit of back and forth before it was good to go and I would have liked to see more depth and breadth to the piece in terms of what they shot and the variety of scenes, but in the end the final piece turned out pretty nicely.

IN PRODUCTION: 1,001 Days is a feature documentary told through the eyes of a group of South African women who live in one of the poorest urban areas in South Africa, Alexandra. They are on a mission to change the fate of their neighbourhood, right from the beginning- at birth. Drawing on their own tough experiences of motherhood, these women go from home supporting new mothers in their community.
Child in Mind is a series of expert podcasts to help parents understand and manage child and family mental health problems.The series is presented by BBC Radio 4 presenter Claudia Hammond. In each 20-minute episode, she discusses an important issue in child and family mental health with an expert and a young person or parent. The series was shortlisted for the mind mental health awards.
