My experience and capabilities boast photography, videography, film, scriptwriting, colorgrading, producing, motion graphics/animation, blogging, and poetry. I shoot with my Sony a7 and use Adobe programs such as Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and After Effects. I graduated from the University of San Francisco in December 2019 with a B.A. in Communication Studies and double minors in Philippine Studies and Media Studies. I have worked with a wide range of companies such as financial tech startups, cultural non-profits, the largest Asian-American film festival, a venture capitalist company, a winery, and more. I take the time to understand my clients' visions and goals to craft the best possible product for them.
Look Up! is a short, independent mental health drama. It received four different film festival awards and was selected for a total of twelve film festivals. Look Up! was written, produced, and directed by Abby Asuncion.
One Week-Stand is a short independent romantic drama written, produced, and directed by Abby Asuncion. A free-spirited, mysterious woman on a week-long trip to San Francisco meets a hopeless romantic woman, born and raised in San Francisco. After a bit of flirtation, the first woman proposes a deal: she can get a tour guide, and in exchange, she’ll be the other’s girlfriend.
In the third episode of the docuseries, Alaina Aflague Arroyo discusses what it's like growing up mixed race, heritage, the misconceptions associated with her cultures, and creating spaces for students on campus associated with those cultures. The film was shot, edited, and researched by Abby Asuncion.

Legacy Businesses is a series in collaboration with SOMA Pilipinas, the Pilipino cultural district in San Francisco. It features interviews of small, local businesses in the district as business owners detail the history of the district and why so few Filipino businesses exist in the district now. Lingo ng Linggo is a series in collaboration with SOMA Pilipinas and Bessie Carmichael Elementary School's Tagalog afterschool program. Each week, a new student shares a word in Tagalog complete with its English translation and the use of the word in a sentence. The series was featured in PBS's SF Loves Learning program.
