As a filmmaker, James Fink-Jensen has taken on every role in film production.
Since early 2015, James has worked as a premier football game videographer for Eastern Suburbs AFC. He is their digital and social media assistant and on occasion, livestreams premier games to Facebook and YouTube.
James also currently works for Magness Video, as a camera operator at the Auckland Trotting Club's harness races. For the majority of the time, his camera is fed into the live feed for television coverage.
Similarly, from 2015 to 2017 he worked for Baseball New Zealand, as the recruitment videographer for players seeking overseas scholarships.
In late 2019 until early 2020, James worked for Oceania Football Confederation and Auckland Cricket. He would operate a wide camera for livestreams.
James has also taken up various freelance work for Pillars New Zealand, EXIT Films, the New Zealand International Film Festival, Shot Darts, the World School Sevens, Quivervision and Auckland Fringe Festival.
The work for NZIFF in mid 2018 involved assisting with filming various directors. Likewise, for the Fringe Festival in early 2020, he filmed and edited artists’ interviews.
