Vieques residents recount their struggle against the ravages of the Navy
9 thousand people reside in Vieques, Puerto Rico. To that, add all the tourists who vacation throughout the year. Vieques has been fighting for years to build a decent hospital. Currently, they only have one CDT (emergency room). On Telemundo Puerto Rico I produced a special program about Vieques. The second story was on health. The concern is towards how their health was affected by the military activity and what was the government's responsibility.
