About

Natasha Scully is a NYC based multimedia journalist specializing in web videos and documentary film. With a desire to find the truth, questioning various social injustices local and abroad, Natasha has taken her lens to the township of Atteridgeville in South Africa, to the streets of NYC to capture the raw atmosphere during Black Lives Matter protests, and to the South Bronx investigating the changing relationships between the Bloods, Crips, and Latin Kings. Her videos have appeared in both local and international media outlets such as the South Africa's Mail & Guardian and MSNBC. Before launching her career as a video journalist Natasha got her Master's degree at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism, where her main focus was on international reporting and video storytelling.

Natasha is super sweet. She was a bit green but was very good about taking feedback and making all the changes requested. She has huge potential and great shooting skills. I would hire her again in a heartbeat!
