Angelos Tsaousis is a producer, director and documentary filmmaker working both on commissioned and personal projects since 2006. In 2007 he founded Filmografik_DocRepublic, an independent film production company that specializes in documentary filmmaking and immersive media. With a truthful passion for visualising impactful stories, Angelos aims through his films to raise awareness and promote a dialogue on important social issues. His debut feature documentary The New Plastic Road - https://thenewplasticroad.com/ filmed in the remote mountainous area of Pamir, acquired by the international sales agency SYNDICADO FS, was award nominated at CLOSE UP: Edinburgh DOCUFEST 2020 and was screened at HOTDOCS 2021, Thessaloniki Documentary Festival 2020, Sevastopol International Documentary Festival in Crimea and more. He has been a FULBRIGHT and a San Francisco Film Society fellow, has participated at numerous workshops - UNIONDOCS (New York) & EURODOC (Europe), and residencies - Santa Fe Art Institute. A visionary storyteller whose look at impactful stories is both intimate and inspiring. Far.Go.Bots - https://fargobots.com/ is his second feature documentary film, a co-production with ERT (Greek Public Broadcaster) and the Greek Film Centre, that premiered as an official selection at the main program of Thessaloniki Documentary Festival 2022.

CUTTY SARK Adevnture
The CUTTY SARK adventure was a sailing trip for six winners of the ADVENTURE SPIRIT competition organised by Cutty Sark, Greece. Filmografik was assigned to film the adventure and produce a half hour documentary. The sailing trip itself in the Atlantic was a unique filming experience. Filming on board of the wooden 1900s sailing boat BESSIE ELLEN, the last Britain’s olden coasting ketch.

The Monks of Mount Athos
Amongst the picturesque cliffs of Mount Athos, Greece, lives a community of monks who have been on this sacred piece of land for centuries. Isolated and hard to reach, the mountain is one of the most important places in the Christian Orthodox world. The monks first arrived on the island in the ninth century, and their way of life has essentially remained the same. Most of their time is spent praying, cultivating the land and creating handmade products to sell. Come along and get lost in their tranquil way of life.
