About

I started my career contributing to Tehelka magazine and then work with The Dainik Jagran Group and The Times of India. Between 2017 and 2023 I was working with VICE Media Group's India office. I have directed and produced documentaries on topics ranging from sex trafficking along the Nepal-India border, child marriage, legalisation of marijuana, gender-based violence against Dalit women, to profiling ex-gangsters, illegal diamond mining in a national park, forced hysterectomies and covering the farmers' protest. I have also produced and directed pieces from other regions in Asia that include a profile of the legendary women's march in Lahore, Pakistan, and the illegal and forced disappearance of Bangladeshi journalists (text and video). I also contributed articles for VICE Asia and reported from the ground during the Delhi riots of 2020. I was also the creative director for The Dark Side, an investigative podcast series produced by VICE for Audible.
