She holds a M.S. from the Columbia Journalism School where she occasionally teaches video and photography. Her work has taken her across the US and around the world where she has focused on telling stories about identity, the human consequences of immigration policy, and climate change. She prefers to work with a light footprint, shoots most of her work handheld, and seeks to capture raw and intimate moments with authenticity.
