I am a Mexico City based multimedia journalist. I cover security stories, economics, politics, and culture. I have a Master's degree in International Affairs from Columbia (SIPA). I have written for Monocle, The Atlantic, Fortune, Forbes, The Nation, and others. I shoot photos and video on a Canon 7D with a 35 MM Canon L-Series lens. I wrote a feature article about a Honduran family's journey to Boston. I set up interviews in both Honduras and Boston, traveled to Honduras and Boston to complete the fieldwork for the project, wrote the article in English and also took the photos for the article.

I traveled to Honduras, went on police patrols, photographed residents in gang-controlled neighborhoods, as well as the families of migrants, and police officers.
I traveled to the state of Tabasco and wrote about a Mexican politician and the fish that he is named after. I set up and conducted interviews in Spanish and wrote the article in English.
