I was camera B (with my own camera and lenses) and occasionally audio during this one week shoot in which we shot 13 episodes of this half hour cooking program. Lots...LOTS...of problem solving involved since we shot on a small crew (4 max) both on location and in studio.
I filmed during the annual Invasion of the Pines at Fire Island. This originated as a protest for Transgender rights in which Trans-people took over the ferry that goes from one part of Fire Island to the other. I filmed wide shots of the ferry arriving and many, many interviews.
The Oregon Historical Society and Randall Investment Group team up to renovate Portland's 1922 Sovereign Hotel, including the famous Richard Haas trompe l'oeil mural.
