Bars Media came to Lamu in 2008 and was my first time to work with professional team in documentary filmmaking. From there I have been working as a fixer and technical assistant in different projects with Aljazeera, Reuters and Kenyan documentary film production companies e.g, Onscreen Productions, Community Images among others
