Bex Rodriguez is a filmmaker based in Austin, Texas. As a full-time freelancer since 2013, Bex has worked on countless docs, commercials and music videos. Recently, Bex worked as a DP for Hulu, NPR, AT&T, The Daily Show, and most recently HBO. Bex’s goals are shooting and directing documentaries with a focus on women and minorities. She has traveled to Morocco to DP the disappearing culture of the nomadic people in the Sahara. Bex not only DPs but has recently discovered directing. From Sol to Seoul, a rock climbing doc following a young woman’s journey from her farm in Colorado to the granite mountains of South Korea, is her latest film in post production.

For Iván and his partner David, moving to Miami not only gave them the opportunity to create a new dream, but it also has allowed them to be a part of the community and have their voices be heard. This year, Iván knows that by voting, his voice will be heard loud and clear.
