Jared had a hand in developing BuzzFeed’s video department from five producers to hundreds of producers. He’s responsible for many of the most innovative videos BuzzFeed has produced like “The One Where Jordan Peele Takes Over Obama’s Face.” He excels in every facet of production, and regularly does things no one else has really done before.
This is a compilation of my body of work from BuzzFeed, Arts+Labor, Watcher, and a couple of other rando projects I’ve animated on, written, shot, so on and so forth and all the things yadda, yadda, yadda.
I got to work on this film while at Arts + Labor as the lead visual effects artist. I had to replace an extra's face who was speaking along with the main actor on screen, delete unwanted visual elements like reflections, props and passing cars and insert screen fills.
I helped Quinta develop this series as short episodes before making longer form, interweaving plot driven episodes that were produced by BuzzFeed and sold to YouTube Red (now YouTube Premium.)
This was a fun project i did for Waze using Blender. Drawing from my emotional memory of playing Final Fantasy VII with my brothers, i created a lo-fi world map in the style of the original Playstation. The final shot is a cinematic render composited over a live action plate.
