Dr. Kelly Grotke is a founding partner at Pattern Recognition LLC, a research and consultancy firm focused on financialization in higher education. Prior to that, she worked in finance and also held academic fellowships at Cornell and the Erik Castrén Institute (ECI) of International Law and Human Rights at the University of Helsinki Faculty of Law. She has a PhD in history from Cornell, and was for many years Director of Research for a small securities valuation firm. She is also currently affiliated with the University College London/Institution for Innovation and Public Purpose's project on Islamic Public Value.
