Monika Wnuk is a multimedia journalist and documentary photographer from Chicago, Illinois. She graduated with a Master’s from the Medill School of Journalism in June of 2014. She works for Northwestern University, where she shoots events, speaker series, and student engagement daily. In her free time, Monika shoots for When We Blink, a team of female photographers based in California, Illinois, and New York, along with weddings on request.
Acted as a photojournalist and reported in the Colombian Andes on this story for the Huffington Post blog. Commissioned by both the Amazon Conservation Team and Medill School of Journalism through the Comer Fellowship for Environmental Journalism.
Commissioned to shoot first communion and baptism photos for the Quinn Community Center in Maywood, IL.
Commissioned by Miss Illinois to shoot a "day in the life story" to publicize her campaign for Miss America.
