I am currently working as a digital video producer at Columbia University in New York, while also freelancing as a videographer, art director, script supervisor, and editor. I am currently in pre-production for my first feature film, Kim, which will start shooting in winter 2016. In my work, I strive to find the poetry in everyday existence. I'm drawn to stories that touch on identity, intimacy, love, and obsession. I also dabble in live performance, puppetry, and music, and am always seeking collaborative experiences with other artists. I created a promotional video for Columbia's Center for Teaching and Learning, to highlight their unique programming for faculty.
Collective Unconscious Performance, a Twin Cities-based theater company, commissioned me to create a short promotional video that would showcase several of their past pieces. I created a 90 second spot that incorporated footage from a short film I had created with them, along with live performance footage. The video spot has been used to successfully raise funds for their next production.
