Request QuoteAfter a literary high school diploma in the Pays de Gex (a little French region next to Geneva), I went to Paris at Gobelins School of Image for a three-years course in photography option video. Graduated in 2017, I did after that a year in Cinema and Audiovisual at Paris 3 Sorbonne Nouvelle, still in Paris. I then specialized in portrait photography and reportage, while pursuing the video. Through a humanist and sensitive point of view, I try to make a testimony of the everyday life of people around me.
This documentary project depicts the diversity and the creativity of the young Senegalese people, wandering in a country looking for enough space to place the aspirations of its youth. These images highlight the quest for identity and freedom of these young people. What they have in common is that they are all pushing forward a country that is trying to manage its complex demography.
This projects shows the streets of Senegal through the prism of curiosities, expressing my love for this country.
"¡Hasta Siempre!" is an exploration of the boundaries between the touristic circuits and the life of Cubans. Cuba is a paradoxical country with a furious desire to open up to the outside world, yet many things hold it back. For a tourist traveling only in the microcosm of the state's tourist guidelines, the window of one of the buses dedicated to tourists was my only escape to approach a reality. By observing through this window, I freeze a life at bus height that makes me invisible.
