Request QuoteI'm a documentary cinematographer and filmmaker with a background in video-journalism based out of Montréal, Canada and Tegucigalpa, Honduras. I've freelanced for a variety of platforms including: Vice News, Politico, AJ+ and 60 Second Docs (Winner of the 2019 Webby Award for Best Documentary Video Channel). As a filmmaker, I'm an active member of the Makila Filmmaker Co-operative where I co-organize regular story development incubators and our annual pitch contest. I also collaborate as both cinematographer and sometimes editor on various documentary film productions. Ever since the 2009 military coup d’état in Honduras I have worked extensively in that country, including directing/shooting two independent documentary films: Revolutionary Medicine: A Story of the First Garifuna Hospital (co-directed with Beth Geglia) and Resistencia: The Fight for the Aguan Valley. When not behind the lens you can find me on a basketball court or an improv stage. I am fluent in English, Spanish and French.

Part of a series of more than two dozen video reports I did from Honduras around the coup d'état and it's aftermath. Police burned an entire community to the ground without so much as an eviction notice. The community, known as Rigores, had been living there for 12 years and was on a path toward getting land titles when the coup put an end to that.
