I am a freelance photographer based in Chicago, Illinois. I started out my photography career seventeen years ago as a staff photojournalist for the Laredo Morning Times in Laredo, Texas after earning my BA in photography/journalism at Columbia College Chicago. I began freelancing in early 2008 and have photographed news, editorial, events, portraits, and more. While at the Laredo Morning Times I went through hostile environment training where I also learned CPR. I understand beginner French and Spanish.
