Chasing Pablo Escobar's Hippos
Decades ago, Pablo Escobar smuggled a handful of hippos in to Colombia. The herd has blossomed to be largest in the wild outside of Africa. But hippos can wreck havoc on Colombia's environment and authorities are experimenting with different solutions to limit the population's growth. On top of that, various hippos have fled to Colombia's largest river where they could be a danger to people.
