I'm a Brazilian journalist, producer, and writer based in Rio de Janeiro since early 2018, focusing on stories about Human Rights, Public Safety, Organized Crimes, etc. Finishing my master's degree in sociology of organized crime at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, I'm well versed in Rio's crime dynamics, with knowledge of Milícias, Jogo do Bicho, Comando Vermelho, Brazilian Culture, and more. I've published my first non fiction/true crime book, 'O coronel que raptava infâncias', in August 2021. It tells the story of a corrupt military policeman who, for 30 years, sexually abused children from the favelas. I have collaborated with Intercept, Piauí, Folha de São Paulo, Ponte Jornalismo, etc. I can guide you through Rio's slums, intermediate interviews with drug lords, help to fight bureaucracy, and find any document you want.
