George is currently working for a local production company in Northern Iraq, producing short form youth focused documentaries. Prior to this, he worked as an in house self shoot producer for an award winning BBC One current affairs program. He started work as a photojournalist during the Arab Spring, first in Egypt and then Libya, before moving into video work in South East Asia, Afghanistan, Eastern Europe and now the UK. In addition to the above, George holds a BA from Kings College London in War Studies, and an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics. He grew up in South East Asia and and has since worked all over the world with work published by the BBC, Al Jazeera English, Vice News, Reuters, the Washington Post, the Boston Globe, the Guardian, the Independent, the European Press Photo agency and more.
