I'm a documentary filmmaker of over 15 years, that seeks to lend my skills to those that are making change, but who's voices may not be heard. Through my lens, these stories can be shared with the rest of the world and hopefully, access the needed funds, assistance, support, or recognition they need/deserve to make the change that is needed. My projects have taken me from Afghanistan to Haiti to Wall Street to The Rockaways after Hurricane Sandy. In all these stories, there is one common thread and that is hope.....hope for a better world and a belief in humanity, that a better world IS possible. In addition to social justice documentaries, I also like to focus on character driven stories...about unique characters -- that by their personalities, lifestyles, or art, are impacting this world or their community, making it a better, more beautiful and inspiring place.
