Our first documentary The Haystack, an investigation into surveillance in the UK, has been screened across the UK and has had the seal of approval from Edward Snowden.
SoR teamed up with PhD student Erin O’Halloran and Middle Eastern Experts Andrew Hammond and Alastair Sloan to ask very basic questions about The Government & Religion, Capital Punishment, Human Rights, Oil, Arms & The West, Women and Lifestyle. The series sparked incredible debates via The Huffington Post as we engage with over 100K with the content.
A beautiful depiction of why those behind the iconic Anonymous mask took to the streets in November 2015 to walk and march against capitalism, pedophilia and welfare cuts. We engaged over 500k people due to an endorsement from Anonymous themselves, who appreciated the impartial nature of the video. The video is still being shared to this day with over 50k views and 1000 shares.
The Haystack, is an investigation into 21st century surveillance in the UK and the Investigatory Powers (IP) Bill currently before Parliament. An endorsement from Edward Snowden which has engaged more than 250,000 people with our documentary. The Haystack has since been screened all over the country and has featured in both the UCL Human Rights Films Festival and The London Film Festival.
