I documented the members of the community police who have protected their community and pitted against drug cartels and others members of organized crime despite the imprisonment of its leader and founder, Gonzalo Molina.
I documented the context around the elections in the state of Guerrero where residents lived through moments of tension ahead of the June 7th election. Many communities announced they were planning to avoid elections supported by locals and some self-defense vigilante groups.
