I am a freelance journalist based out of the Southern Africa with a focus on wildlife and the environment. Previously, I served as the primary congressional reporter for Federal Computer Week where I covered the Department of Veteran Affairs, State Department, and Homeland Security. Prior to that, I covered foreign policy as a Capitol Hill reporter for CQ Roll Call and as a correspondent for Thomson Reuters based in Pakistan. During my time at Reuters, I covered mass protests, interviewed well-known personalities, and reported on breaking news from conflict zones. I have also worked as a multi-media journalist at the CBS affiliate TV station in Washington, D.C.. My work has appeared in USA Today, the New York Times, and others.
