Professionally trained as a video journalist, has an M.A .in Global Communication and has a unique skillset of exellent videography, photography, post-production, design and marketing.
During the 2014 Youth Olympic Games, I assisted leading media experts with the high pressure day-to-day running of the newsroom. My role was supporting over 100 video journalists at the Olympic Broadcasting Station (OBS) Highlights Office, which include setting up interviews for feature films; on-site interpreting and voice-over support during post-production.
I worked closely with producers on the filming and post-production of the award-winning short documentary "The Scottish Brocade". Join this voyage of discovery, that starts in the remote villages of the Highlands of Scotland and travels to my hometown Nanjing, China, to witness the challenge of bringing two very different weaving cultures together into one piece of fabric.
For SaaS products that are very complex, I tried to convey simple messages and imagery. The videos below were used as product videos while the sales reps would pitch to their clients. I'm fully in charge of the entire video production process - from creating video marketing strategies, writing scripts, creating storyboards, contact voice-over talents, editing videos and creating motion graphics to delivering the final result. These brand videos were proven through analytics to have raised awareness in the market and increased audience engagement.

My ultimate goal in this project was to make the brand more recognizable among all web design services. Web designers would be able to recognize the web application when they see the logo.
