Don’t let the innocent blonde look confuse you, Maria Bruggere is an LA-based stand-up comedian, writer, podcast host, and brutally honest woman. Originally from Portland, OR, Maria moved to LA for the mansion tax. Her goal? Become a successful comedian before gas gets to $25 a gallon - not a lot of time left. Maria’s comedic style can be best described as a “take no prisoners approach”. Her act will hit you from every angle - self deprecating, crowd work, observational, personal anecdotes, and the occasional political jab. Most recently, Maria taped for Netflix Is A Joke’s “Are You Still Listening” on Sirius XM (channel 93). You can listen to her full set on demand now. She’s no stranger to hard work. In addition to stand-up, Maria also fills in for Regal Movies as a content creator and on-camera host where she’s interviewed everyone from Jack Black to Ryan Gosling.
