Filmmaker and photographer with 15 years of experience. My work focuses on social issues, culture and enviroment. I´ve worked on 8 feature films, documentary and fiction. Director, cinematographer, producer and editor of “Yakuaya”, award-winning documentary feature, shown at festivals in Africa, America, Asia and Europe. I´ve directed 14 short films and worked on videos on social issues for organizations such as ACNUR / ONU, UNICEF, Fundación Telefónica Movistar, Plan Internacional, Isla Urbana, among others. I´m compromised in film democratization, so I make video workshops for young people and children in Ecuador and México. Also I explore in expanded cinema, video mapping and 3D animation. Founder and director of the production company Ojo Común. I´ve B.A. in film and video, and a Master degree in visual comunications (UNAM).
