"In Wool" is a short documentary I created with A Kind of Guise and the Icelandic Handknitting Association, exploring the lives of three Icelandic women and the tradition of handknitting. Through intimate cinematography, we captured the essence of this craft and its cultural significance, while showcasing A Kind of Guise's collection and supporting Pieta's mental health and suicide prevention work in Iceland.
In the music video for "Can't Fake It" by Bomarz and Chris Medina, I used dance and Iceland's stunning black beach to create a powerful visual metaphor. The dancer's graceful movements across the rugged shoreline, combined with the interplay of light and shadow, express the song's emotional depth and the complexities of the human experience.
Mfitness 2021 is a commercial I co-directed and was the cinematographer, featuring a group of strong and extraordinary women proudly showcasing an Icelandic sports brand. Objectives included increasing brand awareness and driving customer engagement.
As the director of photography for "The Walk," a European Film Academy project, I captured a captivating one-shot interview with Rossy de Palma and Halldóra Geirharðsdóttir. The actresses engage in a thought-provoking conversation about acting, cinema, teaching, beauty, and art while strolling through the picturesque streets of Reykjavík, creating an intimate and immersive experience for the viewer.
