I am an award winning photojournalist and documentary photographer, as well as a documentary filmmaker. I have experience covering events from the front line to the sideline in countries all over the world. I am currently based in Istanbul, Turkey. I covered the Syrian war until it become unsafe to continue, and have since been covering the refugee situation in Southern Turkey and beyond. I adhere to the Frontline Freelance Registry code of ethics. My most important goal is to cover my subjects in a way that keeps their dignity intact and brings their stories to the world. I work in reportage, portraiture, and video.
