Request QuoteMy name is Aidan Joseph and I'm a filmmaker based in Sheffield. I work with businesses and musicians to create compelling, captivating video content that demands the attention of their audiences. I am particularly passionate about documentary filmmaking, and I try to utilise those techniques when working with brands to promote their stories. I am also heavily influenced by music, and I find that this is reflected in the rhythm and pacing of my films. I am a competent solo-shooter, but also work well as part of bigger crews. Although I specialise in camera-work, I have always been heavily involved in every step of the production process. I am also a very experienced video editor, with hundreds of productions under my belt.
For the past 3 iterations of 'Live At Leeds' festival, I have worked on the visuals of each official after-movie. I led the camera crews for both City events, and edited the film for the Park event in 2023. Across the three films we established a strong brand identity, and worked closely with Future Sound Group to reflect an in-the-moment and punter led video experience.
I have worked on two projects with 9 piece jazz fusion band 'Nubiyan Twist'. The first was a music video that we shot within a cylindrical set constructed out of orange paper, with a bullet-time style rig rotating around the subject, who was stood in the middle. The second project was a full live session for their latest single 'Lights Out' featuring Nile Rogers, filmed at The Leadmill in Sheffield.
We teamed up with Progressive Safety Ltd to create this promotional video for their latest workwear brand. Drawing inspiration from the gritty, urban, industrial influence of the Steel City (Sheffield), this TV style advert was intended to resonate with the average hard-working person.
I joined Craig Guest at three race weekends to document his first foray into motorsports. Seeking for an alternate way to market his company and the methods they employ to improve internal processes, Craig teamed up with Spires Motorsports to establish himself as a competitor in the Clio Class category of the Britcar Endurance Championship.
