Marianela Maldonado and Robin Todd are filmmakers who have developed a film and television career in the UK, Europe, South America and US, by writing, directing and editing both short and feature films, documentaries and animations. They have filmed the feature film "Children of Las Brisas" shot over seven years on one of the most dangerous slums of the world. As documentary filmmakers they have directed and produced a tv series for South American Broadcasters Biopiratería and Indigenous communities, worked in Independent documentaries in Venezuela, Bolivia and Colombia. They have also shot current affairs for BBC World and recently, they have been working for Univision in short documentaries. Robin and Marianela created Invento Films, a film company in Souther California where they have been developing fiction, documentary and animation.
