Ike's first film, FALSE which he wrote and directed was released in Oct 2013 and won a Golden Icon Academy Award (GIAMA) out of the 3 nominations. It also had 12 nominations at Nollywood Movie Awards that same year. Ike’s film, SINK OR SWIM won Best Narrative Feature 2017 Newark International Film Festival. His recent film is a thrilling psychological drama titled LOVING DANIELLA which he filmed at locations in three continents namely Lagos - Nigeria, Las Vegas - USA and the beautiful island of Antigua. LOVING DANIELLA made the official selection for Las Vegas Black Film Festival and won the festival’s Best Actress Award out of three nominations. The film was released in Nigeria cinemas this February to critical acclaim.
This is a documentary about people trying to migrate to Europe by road using the back door. We shot across several West African countries including Nigeria, Benin Republic, Togo and Burkina Faso.
It's a beautiful short film filmed in the slums of makoko Lagos Nigeria, where mostly fishermen and timber workers live with their families in houses on stills.
We shot this project in Las Vegas, Lagos Nigeria and Antigua. A very fun project to work on.
